The Giant & The Bear (2012)
A family adventure for players of all ages, experience and levels of daring.
The Giant & The Bear was made for Leeds as part of the official London 2012 Festival coinciding with the Olympic games and it was FUN. We were hugely proud of this show and everyone that worked on it, bringing The Giant’s Big Top™ to Quarry Hill. You can read reviews/responses to the show from:
• in The Guardian here
• and the Yorkshire Evening Post here
Audiences rolled up at the Playhouse for games and adventures before a heart-popping finale in the Giant’s Big Top™.
They cheered the death defying stunts of the Flying Ballerina! Gasped at the freakish contortions of Hanging Hoop Girl! They laughed at the Rollerskating Bear before finally helping him to realise his lifelong ambition of FLYING!
