Chief Executive
J is a writer, producer, performer and director and a founding artist and the Chief Executive of Unlimited. They specialise in collaborations with scientists particularly in the fields of human spaceflight, quantum physics and human enhancement technologies. In 2021/22 J was a Visiting Scholar at Oxford University’s Wolfson College working with their theoretical quantum physicists to help tell the story of their work towards a new Theory of Everything. J is also the Director of Human Spaceflight operations for Unlimited’s ‘sister org’ the Unlimited Space Agency whose mission is “to inspire the next generations of poet-scientists and space explorers”.
As an artist with Unlimited, J has most recently been the creative lead on the Ancient Futures – a large scale, Afrofuturist aerial spectacular – in collaboration with Dela Victoria Amedume of Upswing that toured in summer 2023. They are currently editing a podcast series that documents the story of Unlimited from its inception in 1997.
Beyond their work with Unlimited J has directed seven CBeebies Christmas shows 2013-19 which remain available on BBC iPlayer and the proud parent of two teenage humans. In 2024 J is leaving Unlimited to study for a Masters in Law specialising in International Human Rights.
