Alice Massey joins the Unlimited family…

After a rigorous development process with our board of directors and an extensive search during which we met a fantastic range of people, we are over the moon to welcome Alice Massey as our new Executive Producer.

Most recently, Alice has been working as Producer for composer and theatre maker Dom Coyote’s body of gig-theatre, as Senior Producer with leading outdoor theatre company Wet Picnic and with director Katie Henry to establish Stand Fast, a company dedicated to redressing gender imbalance in theatre. Alice has also worked in TV, film and literary agencies and Harper Collins Publishers, during which time she worked with agents and editors looking after a range of writers including Mark Haddon (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime) and Andrea Arnold (Fish Tank). She worked at the National Theatre working in Publications and eventually on the launch of their flagship initiative NT Live, going on to work with producing organisation Fuel, producing and project managing the work some of the UK’s leading contemporary artists, including Inua Ellams; Melanie Wilson; Uninvited Guests and Sound&Fury.

I asked Alice to share how she felt about joining us and she wrote:
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Unlimited – a group of brilliant artists who really have their finger on the pulse of the timely and urgent issues affecting us and our planet over the next 10 years – making innovative work that straddles sectors, reaching a diverse range of audiences across the UK and internationally. I’m really looking forward to joining the team to help realise the full potential of the company’s ambitions and plans. Plus I might get to meet Tim Peake…”

We can’t promise the meet up with Tim but I know there will be fun and interesting times ahead and we’re hugely excited to find out who Alice might introduce us to as part of our journey together.

Welcome to the shows, Alice.
