We’ll be hosting a day of space+climate inspired fun for all the family at Warwick University as part of the British Science Festival. And if you can’t join us on site, we’re livestreaming all the events on our Facebook page!

11.00am – How To Save the Planet

Inspired by the Apollo Moon Landings, UNSA’s Director of Human Spaceflight Jon Spooner is trying to work out what we can all do to save the planet. Join him and UNSA’s first astronaut Mini Jon as they shoot for the Moon.
12.30pm Live from the Space Shed: In Conversation with Harpreet Kaur Paul

Harpreet is a solicitor and activist. She has worked at Amnesty International, REDRESS and People & Planet, among other organisations. Harpreet will be chatting to UNSA’s Director of Human Spaceflight Jon Spooner about her work in climate justice and how we can work together to help save the planet.

Maddie is a YouTube filmmaker, BAFTA winning presenter and the host of the BAFTA nominated CBeebies series “Do You Know?”, BBC Earth’s “Earth Unplugged”and CNBC’s technology series “The Cloud Challenge”. Maddie will be chatting to UNSA’s Director of Human Spaceflight Jon Spooner about her passion for curiosity and answering questions from the audience.
4pm – How I Hacked My Way Into Space

The hilarious and moving story of how UNSA’s Director of Human Spaceflight accidentally set up his own space agency and hacked his way into space.
